Enso Security joins Snyk: Enabling security leaders to scale their AppSec program with ASPM

Today, we announced that Enso Security has agreed to be acquired by Snyk, the leader in developer-first security. This marks Snyk’s entry into the fast-growing Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) market, and I want to share why I’m so excited about joining with the leaders of developer security to embark on our mission to eliminate AppSec chaos.

‍A shared mission among pioneers 

By joining Snyk, we can accomplish what we set out to do from the beginning - revolutionize the way organizations manage and operate AppSec.

One of the biggest challenges I came across as the Head of AppSec in my career was surrounding risk –  getting a clear picture of risk, prioritizing the business-critical risks, and then transforming that insight into clear action-items and smart tasks for my team.

By combining the capabilities from Enso Security and Snyk, businesses will get a holistic view of their security risks and vulnerabilities, enabling them to make informed decisions about where to focus their resources. Snyk will combine Enso’s Application Security Posture Management (ASPM) with the risk-based prioritization and developer-first security tooling of Snyk’s platform so that security teams can scale their AppSec program to every app and every developer, throughout the SDLC, and focus developers on the issues that matter most.

‍Looking ahead

I couldn’t be more excited for our current and future customers. It was clear throughout the whole acquisition process and through conversations with Snyk’s leadership including with Guy Podjarny and Peter McKay, how committed we are to building a true consolidated solution for enabling security leaders to grow and manage their AppSec programs at scale. By joining together with Snyk, we can now offer the first and only developer security platform providing a holistic view of application security posture.
